BRIDGWATER Town travel to face Buckland Athletic tomorrow (ko 3pm), the visitors aiming to keep themselves at the top of the Toolstation Western League.

The Robins are four points ahead of second-placed Westbury United, although their pursuers do have four games in hand.

They head to south Devon to take on Buckland, who sit 11th after a mixed start to the season, and will hope to avoid the 'chaotic' finale which plagued their last outing, a 5-3 win at Roman Glass St George.

Both goalkeepers, including Bridgwater's Jake Viney, were sent off amid ugly scenes after Bridgwater's fifth goal.

Town are set to bring in a goalkeeper on loan from a Southern League club to cover Viney's suspension, but Lee Begg is likely to miss out after coming off with a hamstring injury.

Regarding Buckland, Robins player/co-manager Dave Pearse said: "They have a relatively new manager [Richard Pears] and we know it will be tough, but I'm confident we have what it takes to go down there and get the right result."

Division 1 leaders Bridgwater Town Reserves host Uphill Castle (ko 3pm), while in Division 3 Middlezoy Rovers Reserves are in south Somerset to take on Combe St Nicholas (ko 2pm).
