BURNHAM-ON-SEA RFC will look to add to their recent record of away successes, as they head to Imperial on Saturday.

All Somerset Premier sides has last weekend off, so Burnham should be refreshed as they aim to keep climbing the table.

The Stags are currently in sixth place, only three points off Nailsea & Backwell in second, while Imperial are in seventh, three points behind Burnham.

So the hosts could well prove a tough test, but the Stags should take confidence from their last outing, an excellent 51-12 victory away to Yatton.

As for Burnham 2nd XV, they are also on their travels, away to Somerton in Somerset 2 South.

Burnham are ninth in the standings (fourth from bottom), while their hosts this Saturday are in fifth spot.

The Stags will certainly hope for a better outcome than their last match, a 47-14 defeat at home to table-topping Yeovil 2nds.

THERE is Friday night rugby to tempt fans this week, with North Petherton taking on derby rivals Bridgwater & Albion under the floodlights tonight (ko 7.30pm).

Pethy are ninth in the South West 1 West standings, with Albion fourth, 10 points ahead.

But these meetings can be tight affairs, and another one of those is expected at Beggars Brook tomorrow.

Albion go into the match off the back of a morale-boosting 24-15 win over Newent last Saturday.
