BURNHAM United face what looks like a must-win game this Saturday, as they welcome Long Ashton to Cassis Close (ko 2.30pm).
The visitors are bottom of the County League Division 1 standings, and with Burnham third from bottom, it’s a golden opportunity for them to move away from the trapdoor.
Burnham United Reserves are in Division 2 & 3 Cup action, away to Portishead Town Reserves, while in the Weston-super-Mare & District League, United A host AFC Nailsea and United B are at Hutton A (all ko 2.30pm).
Wedmore, meanwhile, entertain Portishead Town A, Wedmore Reserves go to AFC Nailsea Reserves, and Huntspill Crowns travel to Division 4 title rivals Weston Town.
On Sunday, it’s a welcome return to action for Burnham United Ladies after a three-week break, at home to Wellington Ladies, while United’s Under-18s host Portishead in a Knockout Cup match.
Both of those matches start at 2pm.
