THERE is no soccer again at Zembard Lane this weekend.

Chard Town first team again travel to Wiltshire, this time to play Calne Town in the 1st Division of the Toolstation Western League (3pm).

Meanwhile, Chard reserves beaten 3-0 at Hatherleigh Town last weekend, have no fixture.

Chard, who were without three midfielders at Warminster last Saturday, will have fitness checks on Nathan Warren and Sam Smith this week.

However, Ryan Parris has completed his one match ban and is clear to return.

There were no new injury worries from the Warminster game.

Chard manager Jamie Manley said: "Calne will be a tough nut to crack.

"They are on a roll and it will be a good test for us, but we are looking forward to it."

Ilminster Town return to league action with Stockwood Wanderers the visitors for another home match kicking off at 3pm.

Ilminster have already played Stockwood Wanderers in the first round of the Somerset Senior Cup back on September 1, where two Taylor Jefferson goals gave them a 2–0 victory, and more of the same would be welcome.

Jefferson will have the cast off his broken wrist during the week and will hopefully be back before too long.
