WELLINGTON AFC will look to take encouragement from Wednesday night's Somerset Premier Cup quarter-final victory, as they travel to Bitton tomorrow (ko 3pm).

Goals from Sam Towler and Paolo Borges, as well as an own goal, saw the Tangerines edge past visitors Clevedon Town 3-2 and into the semi-finals of the competition.

Clive Jones' side currently sit 16th in the Toolstation Western League Premier Division, with Bitton in 10th place.

In the Western League First Division, Bishops Lydeard are looking to bounce back from last weekend's 3-0 Les Phillips Cup defeat to Bitton.

Returning to league action, ninth-placed Lydeard are at home to Calne Town, who are currently 16th, tomorrow (ko 3pm).

In the Somerset County League, Premier Division side Staplegrove host Wrington Redhill, while Watchet Town go to Clutton.

In Division 1 West, Minehead AFC are away to Berrow & Highbridge (all ko 2.30pm).

ON Sunday, Bishops Lydeard Ladies host Team Mendip Ladies in the semi-finals of the Somerset FA Women's Junior Cup (ko 1.45pm).

The winner of the tie will face Frome Town Ladies or Pen Mill Ladies in the final.

Lydeard Ladies Reserves are at home to Wembdon Ladies, meanwhile, and Ash Rangers Ladies have their final home match of the season against Somerset County League Division 1 leaders Weston AFC Women (both ko 2pm).
