SOMERSET Road Club rider Darren Webb has won the road bike category at the recent National Emergency Services Time Trial Championships.
A total of 150 riders from across the country competed in the weekend event in Newcastle, representing the police, fire, ambulance and prison services on a 10-mile and 25-mile course.
On the sporting hilly and windy 25-mile course, Webb finished in 61 minutes to claim the top spot.
