BRIDGWATER rider Chloe Reynolds took victory at the Nupafeed Supplements Senior Discovery Second Round with a speedy treble clear at Chard Equestrian, which took place in Crewkerne.
In glorious weather, a field of 57 set out with the aim of securing a place at the Senior Discovery Championship Final next month.
After two competitive rounds, 24 combinations progressed to the final jump-off.
Reynolds then produced an unbeatable display, taking first place with Conchello Gold, a six-year-old chestnut mare owned by Jane Reynolds.
Having delivered two foot-perfect rounds to make the jump-off, they went on to storm round the newly shortened course in 30.20 seconds.
Claire Daniels from Tintagel, Cornwall, took second on her own eight-year-old grey gelding El Paso RK with a treble clear in a time of 34.47 seconds.
And Reynolds continued her treble clear form on Sally Waters’ 12-year-old black gelding, Kara – this combination jumped three strong clear rounds in 34.55 seconds for third.
With another eight partnerships also achieving treble clears, a total of 11 combinations go on to the Championship Final, which takes place at the National Agricultural and Exhibition Centre in August.
