THE Titans go into their second home game of 2017 taking on one of the in-form team in the division, as they host Forest of Dean side Cinderford (tomorrow, ko 3pm).

The visitors have hit top form over recent weeks, having struggled in the first part of the season after being relegated from the league above.

However, now they have seemingly found their feet, they have only lost once since the middle of November, which was by a single point away against high-flying Old Elthamians.

In this period they have gained 31 league points, two more than Taunton, with probably their best win coming against Bishops Stortford away.

So the Titans will know they will need to be at their best if they want keep the pressure on the teams above, but with all of the teams above them still to play, if Cinderford keep up the winning streak it might be them putting the pressure on.

With such a tough few weeks of fixtures the Titans coaching staff would have been pleased to see Tom Popham and Arron Gibbs both play a part in last week’s win, and with more players coming back to fitness before the end of the season and the registration deadline fast approaching, having a fully fit squad to choose from will be a big bonus if things are tight at the end of the season.

The Taunton Warriors are also going well in the new South West Pilot League, and have gone top of the table for the first time this season.

Last weekend saw a great 53-15 win over Drybrook at Hyde Park, and this weekend will see the return game against Dings Crusaders, again at Hyde Park.

The Warriors will be looking for some revenge as Dings beat them in the first league game of the season, the only loss the Warriors have had in their league campaign to date.

With lots of players at training, coaches Andy Ford and Marsh Cormack will be hoping to pick a squad that can keep them in pole position with seven games left to play.
