In Division 4, Bridgwater Grasshoppers slip up at the chance to climb to first place after losing to an impressive display from Middlezoy Athletic, who were the bottom side at the beginning of the day, by a 2-1 scoreline.

Darren Cann scored early on as Craig Wright won the game for Middlezoy in the 75th minute.

Shane Thompson fired a quick equaliser for second-placed Grasshoppers but Cann's late goal proved the difference.

Williton narrowly saw off East Bower with a 3-1 victory to keep hold of fourth spot.

Aiden Buller, Dan Godfrey and Robert Lockyer struck for Williton, who also had a penalty saved, as Brendan O'Grady found the only goal for Bower.

The top two sides in Division 5 played out a nervy 2-2 draw, a result which ensured Boca Seniors held on to first place ahead of rivals Bridgwater Colts.

Matt Francis and Simon Ingram shared the plaudits for Boca, as Gaza Howes and Ben Patrick goals were not enough for Colts to overtake their opponents.

Josh Fish netted a hat-trick for Dragons, with Aaron Nurcombe, Isaac Dubb, Dave Chambers and an own goal scoring the others.

Dave Sweet struck a thunderous free-kick and Brad Lock looped a 25-yard effort for Hamilton, who did at least come away with something to cheer about.

Dulverton, of Division 2, progressed to the Second Round of the Rowbarton Charity Cup after beating Division 3 Ash Rangers on penalties.

Dulverton led 2-0 before Ash fought back to 2-2 and really should have won the game from there, however, the Dulverton keeper performed wonders to thwart Ash and take the game to penalties.

Dulverton held their nerve in the shootout, winning 5-3.

Creech Cougars, of Division 3, advanced to the Quarter-Finals of the Seward Cup after they beat league counterparts Galmington Dragons 3-1.
