BRIDGWATER Town will be hoping to register their first points of the season when they take on fellow strugglers Bashley on Saturday (3pm).
The Robins currently sit second from bottom in Southern League Division one S&W, with only Saturday’s opponents separating them from bottom spot – and Paul West’s side will be hoping to kick-start their season with a result on the road.
Bashley were thrashed 9-0 by Wantage Town on Tuesday night, while Bridgwater went down 1-0 at Cinderford Town.
Town’s next home game is against Tiverton Town on Bank Holiday Monday (August 31).
Elsewhere, Bridgwater Town Reserves welcome Bishops Lydeard to Fairfax Park, also hoping to record a first win of the league season.
The Reserves have lost both of their opening games in Somerset County Premier so far this season.
Kick-off at Fairfax Park is 3pm.
