THERE’S no change to the top of Division A of the Sampford Peverell and district league as the three top teams all lost.

There was another very close finish between Globetrotters and Globe Appley B. The home team overtook GAB after two legs to led by eight, and though the latter threw everything they had into the game, they just failed by two pins and the Trotters welcomed the points.

The derby between Queens Head and The Hounds was a little one-sided as the latter took charge from the off and Queens could not catch them up. Hounds won all the legs and now share the same position in the table as their stablemates.

Globe Appley took on league leaders Settler Boys and won. The home team set the standard and the Boys were playing catch up all the way through the game. Though the last leg was shared the points were already won.

Calverleigh keep up the pressure on the division leaders as they had a comfortable win over Redwoods. The home were never threatened, and by the time the away boys won the last leg it was already game over.
