STRIKER Stan Smith scored four goals to take his total to 10 in five games as Team BC Men’s Elite football put 10 goals past Ivybridge.
The home side were two up within six minutes after Brad Reeves finished off an excellent individual run. Moments later, Danny Keane broke through and calmly finished.
Ivybridge reduced the deficit after 10 minutes but this goal stirred Bridgwater into action and they responded with three goals in quick succession.
Charlie Bridges converted a penalty and Stan Smith added a quick-fire double after he prodded in from close range and fired in a free kick.
Danny Keane doubled his tally shortly before half-time to make it 6-1 at the break.
The second half followed a similar pattern, with Bridgwater peppering the Ivybridge defence. The lead with an own goal before Stan Smith sealed his hat-trick with another smart finish.
Impressive debutant Harry Fitchew capped his appearance with a goal after he beat two players and shot low in to the corner of the net from the edge of the box. Stan Smith completed the scoring on 80 minutes
