WILLAND Rovers will be stepping into uncharted territory when they entertain Gosport in the fourth qualifying round of the FA Cup today (3pm).

The Toolstation league side are enjoying by far their best-ever run in the competition.

And they go into the game just 90 minutes away from the prospect of a tantalising first round proper tie against the likes of Exeter City and Bristol City.

The club’s coffers were boosted by £7,500 by their success in the previous round and they stand to earn another £12,500 on Saturday.

But Gosport, who play in the Conference South, will provided a level of opposition way above their usual level.

And Willand’s cause will not be helped by a number of absentees.

Mike Mullins is on his honeymoon while Lee Smythe and Steve Orchard are both out with hamstring injuries and Lewis Tasker is cup-tied.
