CHARD Road Runners entered two teams in the Parrett Trail Relay.
The relay is a seven stage trail relay with varying distances of legs from 5.6 miles to 9.5 miles following the long-distance footpath from the mouth of the River Parrett on the North Somerset coast’s Steart Nature reserve.
It crosses the county to finish just over the border in Dorset close to the source of the river Parrett at Winyards Gap. The total route is about 48 miles.
