BRIDGWATER Town Reserves opened their points tally for the season with a battling goalless draw at Berrow on Saturday.

On a blustery day, neither side was able to create any clear cut chances, with much of the play taking place in the middle of the park.

Tyne Govier and Harry Horton put in strong performances for Town as they put last weekend's 2-0 defeat at Minehead and Wednesday's 2-1 reverse at Wrington firmly behind them.

They travel to Stockwood Town this weekend (August 23) before a trip to Nailsea United the following week.
