THE Somerset Rebels have announced the duo to represent the club in the defence of their Premier League Pairs title won in dramatic style last year.
Perhaps not unexpectedly, the Rebels have selected Nick Morris and Olly Allen as their pairing for the meeting which is to be held at the Oaktree Arena on Friday July 11.
Team manager Garry May said: "With each competing club required to nominate two out of their top three riders by average, it was a relatively straightforward choice, both Nick and Olly have been excellent around the Oaktree Arena this season and fully deserve their opportunity to defend our Pairs crown."
In other news, Somerset's Premier League match against Berwick which was postponed last Friday due to a waterlogged Oaktree Arena track has been re-arranged on Friday September 5.
