QUEEN'S College students excelled as the school hosted the first ever Queen’s Eventers’ team jumping competition at King’s Sedgemoor Equestrian Centre.
The event attracted over 170 entries from schools and Pony Clubs across the county and was blessed with warm sunshine.
There were plenty of heart-stopping moments – with the occasional tumble – as the riders competed hard against the clock.
The Queen’s team did extremely well, finishing first in two team events – the 70cm-80cm Class 2 and the 90cm-100cm Class 4 – with second and third place finishes for individual riders.
Tracey Khodabandehloo, Queen’s College Junior School’s Headmistress, who commentated at the event said: “This is a superb achievement.
“The standard of riding from all competitors across every class was exceptional. We were pleased to have hosted such a successful first event for Queen’s.”
