BRIDGWATER Wolves rounded off another successful season with appearances at a number of tournaments across the region.

First, the under eights Hurricanes and Tornadoes teams played some great football against some very skilled teams from Gloucester and Wales.

All the players got to meet Southampton legend Matt Le Tissier and Doncaster and England ladies star Sue Smith.

This was followed by two days of football at Minehead Town FC, with ages from under 7's - under 15's and teams from all the country.

The Under 10's played seven games over the two days against teams from Wales, Merseyside, Gloucester, Isle of White and Minehead - with some great football played by everyone.

Manager Harvey Legg said: “The players certainly had fun and enjoyed their football with a great attitude towards everyone they played. I couldn't have asked any more from my players and I'm so proud of them.

"They have done absolutely fantastic this season and it was special treat for a lovely end to the season for all their hard work. We still have a few more tournaments to attend over the next few months before the start of next season.”
