TAUNTON Town have reappointed of Mo Hopkins as assistant manager to Leigh Robinson for the 2014-15 season.

Mo (pictured) joined the Peacocks in late March following his departure from the assistant manager's role at Tiverton Town, and his arrival at the Viridor Stadium coincided with the Peacock's superb run of form which saw them win ten of their last 11 matches.

Hopkins said: "With the club's and Leigh's positive plans plus the solid commitment of the players and staff, it is with great pleasure and excitement I commit myself to Taunton Town for the 2014-15 season.

"I am pleased to be part of a club which is looking to maintain and develop high standards both on and off the pitch. The support I witnessed in the dozen games I was involved in was tremendous and bodes well for the future so I'm really looking forward to being part of the team next season."

Robinson who himself was reappointed last month, was equally happy to secure Hopkins for the new campaign.

He said:" I'm very pleased to get the first piece of the jigsaw in place with Mo agreeing to stay on for next year. The quality of his work in the last part of the season after Martyn left was fantastic and he had a huge hand in the successful end to 2013-14 that we put together.

"I am in no doubt that he will be a huge asset going into the new season."

Chairman Kevin Sturmey said: "I am delighted that Leigh has confirmed Mo is continuing as assistant manager. Mo is well known to the club and has been excellent since joining us, bringing a wealth of coaching experience and in my opinion acting as the perfect foil for Leigh."
