CHARD Road Runners joined an 85 strong field on Good Friday for the Kilmington Kanter, a seven mile multi-terrain race.

Nick Daniels led the contingent home in ninth place in 47m 53.

Other placings: Neil Plumbridge 15th in 50m 48s, Simon Hall 64th in 71m 9s, Claire Pomeroy 70th in 63m 19s, Helen Baxter 71st in 73m 19s, Vicky Musselwhite 84th in 89m 37s and David Carter in 92m 40s.

The sun shone again on the Runners on Monday in the Yeovilton Easter Bunny 10k Road Race, one of the fastest in the South-West, which attracted 360 runners.

Results: Wayne Loveridge 22nd in 36m 52s, Richard Clifton 33rd in 38m 10s, Martin Holley 59th in 41m 06s, Rebecca Barnacle 136th in 46m 36s, 162/360 Kate Beaumont 162nd in 48m 48s, Maria Wadey 170th in 49m 09s, HelenBaxter 221st in 52m 34s, Kevin Clancy 239th in 53m 59s, Julie Bindon 284th 57m 21s, Rebecca Stone 355th in 79m 21s and Lindsey Quinlan 357th in 79m 42s.
