ON a fine and sunny day, Ilminster started slowly although, having all the possession, they couldn’t turn it into goals.
Then, just on half-time, Amber Clarke ran through the defence to calmly slot home and give Ilminster the lead at the break.
The second half saw Ilminster come out with more desire after a stern half time talk, now turning their possession into goals from Megan Purchase (4), Dee Cracknell (3), Amber Clarke (3), Sarah Roxburgh (1) and Hayley Francis (1).
Ilminster now just need a win from their game at home on Wednesday night to be crowned champions and gain promotion for next season.
Girl of the game went to Sarah Miller for an overall commanding display in the midfield.
