EXETER College are just one match away from cup final glory after making it through to the final of this year’s NatWest School’s Cup, the premier cup competition in schools rugby.

The Devon school will take on Trent College at Twickenham Stadium, home of England Rugby, on Saturday, March 29.

Tickets are free of charge and for those fans that are unable to make it down to support their local school they can still catch all the action on RFU.com where it will be broadcast live.

Exeter College will return to Twickenham for the first time since 2005 when they won the Under 18 Cup.

On their road to the final they have beaten Yeovil College (55-0, 3rd Round), Exmouth Community College (46-10, 4th Round), Wycliffe College (31-14, 6th Round after 5th Round W/O) and Brockenhurst College (24-10, 7th Round).

Their quarter-final against Worth School went down to the wire as they managed a narrow one-point win (28-27) whilst their semi-final match was equally tight as they beat Wirral Grammar School 17-13 to reach the final of this year’s NatWest Schools Cup.

Rob Andrew, RFU Professional Rugby Director said: “The NatWest Schools Cup is a fantastic tournament and one that every school rugby player wants to win.

"You need only to look at the list of current England internationals that have played in the competition, players like Chris Robshaw, Danny Care and Manu Tuilagi, to see how the tournament can inspire the next generation of professional players.”
