CHARD Road Runners hit the top-rated Axe Valley Grizzly 20 mile off-road race and the ten mile Grizzly Cub.

This is a gruelling 20 mile off road race with deep mud in places, over 5,000 feet of elevation and a run along the Branscombe pebbles to the ‘stairway to heaven’ which takes the runners from sea level to the top of the cliffs along the Jurassic costs line.

Wayne Loveridge Ran in the Grizzly Cub in a time of 1hr 5m 18s secured a creditable fourth place.
