TAUNTON host their ever popular Landlords Day meeting tomorrow (Monday) when the first of the seven events on the card is due to post at 2.20pm.

Leading trainers Paul Nicholls, David Pipe, Philip Hobbs and Venetia Williams are all represented and with the improved going of soft, soft to good in places and 66 horses declared another exciting afternoon’s action looks to be in store.

The most valuable and also the longest race on the card is The Bathwick Tyres Handicap Steeple Chase at 3.50pm, a Class 3 event over three miles and five furlongs, which has a whopping prize fund of £10k up for grabs.

The afternoon rounds off with Mares’ Standard Open National Hunt Flat Race over two miles one at 5.20pm.

Racegoers are reminded that a courtesy coach service departs from Taunton Railway Station and hour before the off, picking up at the Bus Station near the town centre soon after and returning from the course 30 minutes after the last.
