BRIDGWATER College is to launch the new Team BC sports provision, replacing the previous Sports Academy and Sports Enrichment programme.
The launch event will be held at Bridgwater College in the Sports Hall on Thursday March 20 5:30pm β 7:30pm.
Team BC encompasses all aspects of sport provision, including elite sports teams in rugby, basketball, trampolining, golf, netball and male and female hockey and football.
The College also offers Team BC Active which includes activities such as archery, cycling, Zumba and badminton.
The launch event will provide the opportunity for current and prospective students and parents/guardians to find out further information about sports provision at Bridgwater College, together with performances from special guests Colin Nell (freestyle footballer), Matti Hemmings (BMX Flatlander and World Record Holder), Andrew Wilding (freestyle basketballer) and Connor Stringer (Freerunner).
Luke Buckingham, Sports Development Manager at Bridgwater College said: βThe launch event will provide a fantastic opportunity to find out more information about the high quality sports provision and outstanding academic courses we offer at the College.
"The performances from our special guests are also set to provide a great spectacle for everyone, we are fortunate to be able to attract such experienced and specialist professionals.β
