TAUNTON Titans visit Clifton for another National League 2 game today (2.30pm).

This will be another tough test for the Titans against a side who have won all of their home games this season.

Clifton have good links with Bristol RFC and have several dual registered Bristol players. One is current Bristol and Argentinean International second row Mario Sambucetti who has helped bolster their pack.

Taunton know they will have to be at their best to break Clifton’s home record and forwards coach Chris Brown is well aware of what is needed.

He said: “Clifton represent a great challenge to us as they will be keen to make amends for their loss at Hyde park in the first half of the season.

“They are dangerous with the ball in hand and have not lost at home this season. That said, they are a team that likes to play rugby and this will suit us.

“I am confident we can cause them problems if out collective focus is good and we bring a strong work ethic. Clifton are well coached and have a proud history within their club – these two things count for a lot and we will have to be at our best to win.

“Our squad is not short of motivation and we are keen to finish a good season with performances that are representative of the progress we have made. The players are in control of these outcomes and the ball is firmly in their court.”
