ANOTHER afternoon of action-packed National Hunt racing is in store for punters when Taunton host The Royal Bath and West Meeting this afternoon when the first of the seven races on the card is set to go to post at 2.10pm.
With the going likely to be heavy, soft in places, top trainers Paul Nicholls, Venetia Williams and David Pipe all have horses running while leading jockeys Tom Scudamore, Daryl Jacob and Aidan Coleman are all booked to ride.
The big race on the card is The Royal Bath and West Novices’ Limited Handicap Steeple Chase (Class 3) over 2m ½f at 3.10pm, while the day’s action also includes The CGA Foxhunter Steeple Chase for the Richard Williams Memorial Trophy, over just short of 3m at 4.40pm.
