BRISTOLS jointly lead Division 1 of the Burnham, Highbridge & District Skittles League after a tight game with Old Railway, winning by just one pin.

Nightmares made the grade, winning by ten over Tri-ards to go joint top. Wotsits are on the same points but have played an extra game; this week they failed miserably against Young Ones who were playing a sergeant major and won by 11.

Bottom team Coopers Boozers beat Wayward Wanderers by nine at Morlands Social Club.

Leaders of Division 2, Victoria Vixens found their match when they took on Berrow Club B and lost by 31 but still keep their four-point lead as Applecatchers failed to make headway against Coasters.

Bombers won at the Railway against Pink Ladies and also took the points in a rearranged game against Berrow Club B, where the match went to the final three balls of the game, winning by just one and moving up to fourth. Pawlett Legion went down to bottom team Red Devils.

Eight Belles dipped this week as they lost to the bottom team in the Premier Division Berrow Breezers by 1.

However, they stay at the top with a lead of one point from Maybee’s who took on Blinders at the 37 Club and ran out winners by nine.

Watchfield Belles moved up to fourth place as they beat Nitwits by nine.

Cannonballs had a superb victory over Pin Ups at the George Hotel, Lisa Davenport leading the way with 78, backed by Jane Hazelton on 67 and Julia Nutting on 60.
