ILMINSTER Town are set to entertain Berrow tomorrow (2pm) on the back of a 1-1 draw Cutters Friday last weekend.
Manager Darren Manley was pleasantly surprised by his side’s sharp performance in the Somerset premier league clash after a six week absence.
Chris Nezianyia scored in the 31st minute soon after Cutters had taken the lead.
Manley said: “We played really well and all the lads’ hard work paid off.
“I expected us to be a bit off the pace but we were brilliant and the attitude was great as well. The conditions were unbelievable and the wind was blowing the ball back over people’s heads, but it was just nice to get out and play and to have some football to talk about.”
