Rebels' Doyle takes second in Aussie Championship
SOMERSET Rebels’ captain Jason Doyle - who led the Somerset Rebels to their historic triple Championship-winning season in 2013 - finished second in the Australian speedway Championship at the Gillman Raceway in South Australia.
The Championship was decided over three rounds and the third meeting saw Doyle storm into the all-important ‘A’ Final - winning all five of his qualifying races.
Doyle finished just ahead of ex-Rebel Josh Grajczonek in third.
