WELLINGTON are keeping a close eye on the weather as they prepare for Saturday’s home game with Chippenham Park in division one of the Toolstation league.
The reserves managed to play last Saturday but persistent rain this week has left the match in doubt.
The Tangerines go into the New Year lying a handy fourth in the table but manager Mike Hawes has set his side no targets other than to “stick with the pack.”
Saturday’s game at Wincanton was called off because of a waterlogged pitch although Wellington did move temporarily into third place on Boxing Day with a 2-0 victory at home to Barnstaple.
