EXETER returned to winning ways with a 3-1 victory at Torquay today.
Gulls striker Karl Hawley saw his early penalty saved, after Liam Sercombe's foul on Billy Bodin.
Then the Grecians went ahead via Tom Nichols' long-range effort in the 39th minute.
A superb solo goal from David Wheeler on the hour mark made it 2-0 before the hosts pulled one back through Hawley after 74 minutes.
Alan Gow's clinical finish with five minutes left made the game safe.
