BERROW will be hoping for a surge up the table after Christmas after a mixed showing so far this season.
They are currently perched in eighth place in the Somerset County Premier League – with eight wins, three draws and five defeats.
The 4-2 Somerset Cup defeat to local rivals Burnham will have hurt Berrow, but they will still harbour hopes of fighting their way into the league’s top six in 2014.
They begin the Christmas period with a home game against Stockwood Green on December 28, before making the short trip to Bridgwater Town Reserves the following week (January 4).
