BURNHAM United B crashed out of the Davis Shield after a 4-2 defeat at the hands of Westend Reserves.
Wedmore however, had better luck and beat AFC Nailsea Reserves 4-2 on penalties following a 0-0 draw after extra time.
In round two of the Knockout Cup, Shipham lost 2-1 to Draycott in extra time after the sides had drawn 1-1 in 90 minutes.
Burnham United A suffered a heavy 6-1 defeat at Clevedon United A in Division two of the Weston & District League to remain in ninth place – and Langford Rovers hammered Clevedon Dons 6-2 to climb above Burnham into eighth.
In Division Three, Wedmore drew 3-3 at league leaders Axbridge Town to earn just their fifth point of the season.
King Alfred Sports Centre had an empathic 9-1 win at home to bottom side Pill United in Division Four.
The win sees them keep the pressure on Wedmore after they dropped points at Axbridge.
