ENMORE Park Seniors entertained their Minehead counterparts in the first of the winter series of matches.
These matches are all played for a full eighteen holes and the scores recorded as holes up at the end.
Enmore won the game by a resounding margin of 29 holes to two holes.
For Enmore, John Rigler and Tony Pomeroy won 12 holes, lost three and halved three to register a 9-up victory. Paul Waplington partnering Jim Symcox and Jim Potticary with Chris Topps recorded 5-up victories.
Club captain, Mike Rossiter, making his debut for the seniors, partnered Pete Hamshere to a 4 up victory.
Two more pairs, Peter Robinson/Paul Hibberd and Graham Pain /Dave Pascoe recorded 3-up wins. The two losing pairs took their matches to the final green but both ended with one hole defeats.
The return fixture will be at Minehead on Monday January 13.
