Own goal rescues replay for Robins

Chalfont St Peter 1 Bridgwater Town 1
BRIDGWATER Town maintained their unbeaten record this season with a hard-fought 1-1 draw at Chalfont St Peter in the FA Trophy on Saturday.
After falling behind early in the second-half, an own goal by Chalfont's John Carroll levelled things up for the Robins to earn a replay.
Town welcomed back Danny Wring, who has rejoined from Clevedon Town and took up his place amongst the substitutes.
The majority of the game was confined to the midfield with neither keeper troubled with any regularity.
Dean Griffiths failed to start a game for the first time this season, and his forceful running was missed in the first period as Page and Bushin found themselves isolated at times.
Wright was relieved to see a crashing shot from Brook-Smith drift just wide of his far post, while at the other end, Bushin was twice close to converting Page's crosses, who was leading the line with his usual industry.
With the home defence quick to push out, Bridgwater were too often caught offside as an even first half finished goalless.
In the early stages of the second-half, Bridgwater began to break down the Chalfont rear-guard as Chalfont keeper Power-Simpson was quick off his line to deny Loxton, Bushin and Page in one-on-one situations.
There appeared little danger to the Bridgwater back four, but a mix-up gave Alan Hedley a straight forward chance to open scoring on 65 minutes - an invitation he duly accepted.
But Bridgwater preserved their unbeaten start to the season when Carroll misjudged a long throw from Wilson to head past his own keeper when under no real pressure.
Both sides attacked in the closing stages to avoid a replay and the bustling Osei crashed a 25-yard effort against the bar with Wright beaten.
But the keeper was equal to his next effort in stoppage time as the game finished one apiece.
The two sides meet again at Fairfax Park on Tuesday night (October 8, 7.45pm KO) for the replay.
