BURNHAM kept the pressure on top of the table Portishead after a convincing 5-0 victory over local rivals Burnbridge.

Playing against the wind in the first half, Burnham had most of the play but lacked any end product until the persistent threat of Rosser made it 1-0 before half time.

Not for the first time Burnham were much better in the second half with Durrant superb at the back stopping any threat from Burnbridge when they attacked.

After several half chances United went 2-0 as Harding netted.

The third goal was created by some good work by Jeffereys who found fellow striker Rosser for an easy finish.

The fourth goal was scored by centre half White with an unstoppable header. White almost got a second goal for Burnham's 5th but it was awarded as an own goal.
