Bridgwater Bucs 74, Crewkerne Thunder 71

WITH a squad lacking their entire usual starting five players Bucs started nervously.

Sharp shooting from Phil Rogers got Bucs on the scoreboard and quick passing gave Mark Schroeder some easy inside baskets. Jake Chidgey and Jack Roberts fought hard for rebounds and a couple of 3 pointers from Rich Nurse gave the Bucs a 40 – 34 lead at half-time.

In the second half, Jack Williams, Liam Vickery and Jack Chillingworth all making significant plays and with the game close Mark Schroeder and Jack Roberts combined to keep Bucs within striking distance.

Bucs were down by two points a clutch three point shot by Jack Roberts gave Bucs the lead and then Jake Chidgey intercepted a full court pass and sealed the win.
