FOOTBALL: Form a worry as Tiverton prepare to face Swindon Supermarine

OUT of form Tiverton, who lost 2-1 at Yate Town on Tuesday, have now gone 16 matches without a win in all competitions.

And one of the keys to their poor form has been their lack of goals, with just seven scored in their last ten league matches.

Their troubles were summed up on Saturday in the 0-0 draw with Bridgwater Town when striker Joe Bushin – the league’s joint second-highest scorer with 18 – missed his third penalty in four attempts.

And Mark Saunders’ side will be hard-pushed to get back to winning ways in the Evo-Stik Southern league on Saturday (3pm) when they entertain third-placed Swindon Supermarine who have lost just five league matches all season.
