Striker Dave Pearse makes switch back to Bridgwater Town

BRIDGWATER Town have swooped for striker Dave Pearse after he announced his decision to move from fellow Southern League Division One South and West side Tiverton Town.

Pearse played for Bridgwater last season but opted for a move down the M5 during the early stages of this season.

Joint boss Kevin Milsom said he will be welcomed back at the club.

He added: “He will be a healthy addition to the squad and will be welcomed back – we will see where we go from there.

“Things have not worked out there so he wanted to come back.”

Tiverton Town announced the departure of Pearse on their Twitter account.

They said: “Dave Pearse has today left the club to join Bridgwater. The club would like to thank Dave for his contribution while with us.
