Burnham and Berrow Golf Club latest
THE mid-week stableford at Burnham and Berrow Golf Club was a non-qualifier as the eighth hole was shut for the on-going irrigation works.
Graham Gregg returned a fine total of 35 points to beat Iain Lewis by one point. Andy Towens beat three others on count-back for third place with 31 points.
The stableford competition played on Saturday saw Andy Gent top the field with a fantastic 40 points.
This was two clear of Peter Tomlinson in second and a welcome return to form for Chris Hill in third with 37 points.
Division 2 was won by Clay Poynton with 38, Chris Perry was second with 36 and Michael Applegate third on count-back with 34.
