ACTION returns to Taunton on Thursday when the first runners go to post at 2.10pm.

The feature race on the card is the Royal Bath and West Novices' Handicap Steeple Chase (Class 2) over two miles and half a furlong at 3.10pm.

The card also features the Bathwick Handicap Hurdle Race (Class 3) at 3.40pm.

Earlier this year Taunton suffered the disappointment of having to abandon their biggest ever race day because of the snow.

However the fixture has been re-arranged for Thursday, April 4 - the Family Funday Easter Race Meeting - when prize-money of £100,000 will be up for grabs and the first race gets underway at 2.10pm.
