Haygrove School girls progress to Regional Netball Championships
HAYGROVE School had four teams representing Sedgemoor in the County Badminton Finals held at King Arthurs School in Wincanton.
All players faced stiff opposition from the other area teams but the Junior Girls team made up of Cassie Coombes, Jess Webb, Chloe Trout and Olivia Shorthouse played outstandingly and finished first.
It meant the school claimed the Junior Girls County Badminton Champions for the first time and will now go on to represent Somerset in the Regional Round at Exeter in March.
