WATERLOGGED pitches still denied Burnham United and Predators the chance of any action at the weekend.

In the Somerset County League First Division Burnham were set to face Purnell Sports until the match was postponed meaning that they have still only played one match since December 8.

Now they will turn their attention towards to a home clash with Clutton this Saturday. Kick-off is 2.30pm.

In the Taunton and District Saturday League, Division One side Predators were also washed out.

Predators were due to take on Alcombe Rovers at home but they will have to wait until this Saturday now when they make the same trip as Highbridge last week and face North Petherton.

*BURNHAM United Football Club is holding a race night on February 16 at the avenue Tennis Club. It starts at 7.30pm and tickets are £5 available from the football club.
