Bridgwater & Albion III 68, Martock 0

ALBION produced a superb performance to see off a depleted Martock side on Saturday.

Martock arrived with only 12 players and were loaned three by Bridgwater including club president Mike Berry.

Unsurprisingly, with Martock rooted to the bottom of the table the game was very one-sided.

Bridgwater ran in 12 unanswered tries.

Lee Burrows got the first score closely followed by George Burtenshaw and Dave Norman – all within the first 15 minutes.

Chris Hicks scored twice and there were further scores from Jon Frost, Will Kerry and Simon Buck to give Albion a 48-0 half-time lead.

In the second half, Ryan Burge and Burtenshaw added to the tally along with two more from Frost to complete his hat-trick.

This Saturday Bridgwater play their re-arranged home match with Tor (2.30pm).
