FOOTBALL: Wellington postponement adds to fixture pile-up
LIKE so many other fixtures, Wellington's first team game at home to Oldland Abbotonians on Saturday was called off because the pitch was covered in snow.
That means another match has to be squeezed into a busy second half of the season after rain caused a succession of cancellations over Christmas and the New Year.
Wellington will be looking for an improvement in the weather by midweek as they are scheduled to play away to Sherborne Town on Wednesday (7.30pm).
