GOLF: Padbrook Park draw Minehead in Mail on Sunday Classic

PADBROOK Park have been drawn away in the first round of the Mail on Sunday Classic.

They will travel to Minehead for the tie within the next three weeks.

It’s a repeat of a match in 2007 which Padbrook won.

The competition is a five man team event playing singles matches.

Padbrook professional Stuart Disney has a 12 point lead at the halfway stage of the CP Construction Devon County PGA Order of Merit Title.

Disney finished tenth in the latest event at Yelverton after shooting a 75.

Kevin Harper, who tied for second in the event, closed the gap on Disney.
