WATCHET are back in the groove, judging by their 4-0 demolition of Street reserves last weekend.

And they will need to be at their best this Saturday (2pm kick-off) when they entertain league leaders Berrow.

However manager Steve Perkins is far from daunted by the game after the Red and Blacks played well with a weakened side at Berrow earlier in the season.

Perkins will be without striker Tom Sparks, who is returning to university, and centre-back Eben Harding, but has ready-made replacements in Sean Kenny, returned from holiday, and Neil Peek, recovered from illness.

Perkins said: “We produced a good team performance on Saturday and things are looking good at the moment.

“We’ve had some really good training sessions in the past couple of weeks and things are coming together.”

Saturday’s goals came from Jamie Milton, Chris Sully, Dominic Richards and Tayler Maddock (penalty).
