Taunton suffered a disappointing reverse when they went down to a 2-1 defeat at Cinderford Town in the Evo-Stik League yesterday.
Craig Herrod grabbed the lead for the Peacocks on 28 minutes, beating two defenders in a run across the edge of the area before finding the bottom corner of the net.
The home side equalised four minutes before the break through Dale Evans whose shot took a deflection off Owen Irish before beating Conor Thompson.
A free kick swung in from the right on 51 minutes was then headed in by Alex Evans to give Cinderford the lead and Sam O'Sullivan hit the post as the hosts searched for more.
Taunton's chances increased after 74 minutes when Matt Barnes was dismissed for two bookings. However, Taunton could not make the extra man count.
