MORGANIANS’ charity day went ahead on Boxing Day on a soaking wet pitch but an enjoyable game was had by two sides which were mixed with players from Bridgwater and Albion, Morganians and North Petherton.
The charity was for Travis Smith, who suffers from epilepsy and needs £6,000 for a bed on which he is able to call his parents in an emergency. The day raised £300 for him and the final score was 41-12.
Morganians take on Somerton at 2.30pm on Saturday.
